Webcomics

I am reading a couple of webcomics, and just had to link them here.
My favorite is by far Phil Foglio’s Girl Genius, it takes place in a steampunk style Europe, where specially gifted people invents all kinds of thing, ranging from weapons to calming pie’s (they arent all equally gifted in inventing),these people are called “sparks”.
The story is about a girl, Agathe Clay, that discovers her entire life has been a lie, and she is a spark that has her talent been suppressed by a locket given to her when she was a child. After being taken prisoner by the ruler of Europa, Klaus Wulfenbach, she is kicked into an adventure to discover who she really is.
The story is well told and the style and detail of Phil Foglio is great, he has a lot of fun details in his pages and he’s humor hits spot on to my humor. The sidecharacters bring a lot of humor into the series, to mention a few: Jägers: which are human/monster like creatures serving the baron, talks with broken english, think east europe style (I alvays vanted to try dis) and with a limited intelligence. Klosp: a cat that has gotten brain surgery and has gotten humanlike intelligence.
Just recently i have begun reading “Looking for group” which is a comic taking place in a fantasy world, featuring a party of 5 characters:
Cale’Anon Vatay, a elf which, in his own mind, is a noble, galant and virtuous fighter of good, being fairly naive he often ends up killing “good” characters to save his friends. He has an animal companions called Sooba, which is a large black feline creature and is a fierce fighter.
Benn’Joon is, by the others, a “unknown breed”, but looking at wolrd of warcraft she may have some troll in her. Having been raised by the Bloodrage clan, a clan of Minotaurs, Benn’Joon is a good melee fighter and combined with being a priestess capable of powerful healing and defensive spells makes her a powerful companion in the group. She was raised by Krunch Bloodrage, a minotaur she met in a dungeon when she was little.
Krunch Bloodrage is a minotaur, big, strong and wields a large hammer in combat. Being imprisoned he met the (very)young Benn’Joon and took her in as his own, after he escaped from the dungeon he was held in. Krunch is the intelligent type, and has been refered to as a scholar.
Pella. Pella of clan Breen is a dwarven warrior/bard, she is often jumping into the battle singing songs and dismembering her opponents. Being a daughter of the royal guard commander she is also trained in the art os smithing.
Richard. An undead warlock which biggest motivation is killing, he follows the party around, out of sheer boredom and for opportunities to kill things, and he states. He uses some titles about him self, which are, Chief Warlock of the Brothers of Darkness, Lord of the Thirteen Hells, Master of the Bones, Emperor of the Black, Lord of the Undead. Later in the series he decide to add Lord of the dance to his titles. Being undead has alot of advantages, and Richard can withstand alot of punishment witout flinching. He has been shot with arrows a bunch of times, knifed, pinned to a ship mast, gotten a hole blown in his stomach and once, while being captured and tortured he gave the man torturing him advice on what to do. Richard is the comic relief element in the series, being chaotic evil in D&D terms he will use any excuse to kill things, or light them on fire (small pets especially).
And lastly here is a little musical number by Richard, singing about how he loves to kill things
